A Children’s Song from WWZ

There’s a door leads to a house that we don’t enter anymore.

There’s a knob, and there’s a window, there’s some blood and there’s some gore.

There’s a threshold that will trip you if you do open that door

and grey hands that will catch you and will pull you to the floor.

There’s a door leads to a house that we don’t enter anymore.

There are sounds down in the basement that were never there before.

There’s some howling, there’s some growling, getting louder, more and more.

There’s a lock that stops you entering the creaking cellar door

to see the two in tatters and the chains that stop their war.

There are sounds down in the basement that were never there before.

But it wasn’t always like that, with death waiting past that door.

They were a handsome family right up until the war.

But Zack came and found them wanting, and I guess you know the score.

So now there’s moaning and there’s groaning that just wasn’t there before

down in the basement of the house that we don’t enter anymore.
